John Wallace 
John was born about 1529 in Craige, Ayrshire, Scotland. John's father was William Wallace and his mother was Margaret Sophia Kennedy. His maternal grandparents were Alexander Kennedy and Mariot Dunbar. He had two half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Gilbert, Thomas, Cartherine, Isobella, Jean and Janet.
