Thomas Kennedy 
Thomas was born in 1545 in Cassilis, Maybole, Ayrshire, Scotland. Thomas' father was Gilbert Kennedy and his mother was Margaret Sophia Kennedy. His paternal grandparents were Gilbert Kennedy and Isabel Campbell; his maternal grandparents were Alexander Kennedy and Mariot Dunbar. He had a brother and four sisters, named Gilbert, Cartherine, Isobella, Jean and Janet. He was the youngest of the six children. He had a half-brother named John. He died at the age of 57 on May 11th, 1602.General Notes
