George Washington PAYTON 
George Washington was born on June 9th, 1837 in Parke Co., Indiana.1 George Washington's father was Anthony PAYTON and his mother was Margaret WALLINGFORD. His maternal grandparents were Mark WALLINGFORD and Mary WHALEY. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named William, James Franklin, Mark Wallingford, Thomas, Laureny Douglas, John L., Harvey H., Julina, Mary Wallingford, Louisa D. and Sarah E.. He was the sixth youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 3 in November 1840 in Parke Co., Indiana.1 General Notes
