Samuel Kerr Green 
Samuel Kerr was born about 1790 in Pendleton Dist, SC. Samuel Kerr's father was John Green and his mother was Jane Kerr. His maternal grandparents were Captain Samuel Kerr RWS and Mary Calhoun. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Benjamin S, Ezekiel Calhoun, Joscelin B, John Ewing, James H, Gid, Elizabeth B, Mary Calhoun, Lucinda and Jane Caroline. He was the oldest of the eleven children. He died in March 1860 in Grimes Co, TX. He was buried in Green Cemetery, Waller Co, TX.General Notes
