Joscelin B was born about 1800 in Pendleton Dist, SC. Joscelin B's father was John Green and his mother was Jane Kerr. His maternal grandparents were Captain Samuel Kerr RWS and Mary Calhoun. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Samuel Kerr, Benjamin S, Ezekiel Calhoun, John Ewing, James H, Gid, Elizabeth B, Mary Calhoun, Lucinda and Jane Caroline. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. He died about March 30th, 1853 in Bibb Co, Alabama.General Notes
