Stewart Eugene was born on August 29th, 1911.  Stewart Eugene's father was Albert Armstrong Simmons and his mother was Mary Angaline Simmons.  His paternal grandparents were George Washington Simmons and Lydia Margaret Frances McBride; his maternal grandparents were Francis Simmons and Permelia 'Millie' A. Stipe. He had five brothers named Mal D., Powell Louis, Elige 'Eligha' R., Ernest D. and Carl.  He was the third oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 86 on March 1st, 1998 in Nashville, Davidson Co, TN.  He was buried in Simmons Cemetery, White Co, TN.
