Haveron Bryan was born on October 3rd, 1896 in Van Buren Co, TN.  Haveron Bryan's father was James Phillip Grissom and his mother was Louisa Caroline Simmons.  His maternal grandparents were William M. Simmons and Mary Catherine Stipe. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Ernest Toliver, William Herod, Abijah E. 'Doc', Phillip Lee, Lela Mae, Virginia Ann 'Jennie', Mary Belle, Elcie Bell and Mary Lodema.  He was the fifth youngest of the ten children.  He died at the age of 71 on February 25th, 1968 in Van Buren Co, TN.  He was buried in Long Cemetery, Van Buren Co, TN.
