James Lee Chester

James Lee was born on March 23rd, 1872 in Dover, Stewart Co, TN.¹ James Lee's father was John Alonzo Chester and his mother was Sarah Jane Roberts. His maternal grandparents were Ryland Roberts and Martha Jane Keel. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Hallie Mortimer, Walter Allie, William, Dollie, Ida Mae, Lily Pearl and Mary Alma. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 77 on December 15th, 1949 in Bokchito, Choctaw Co, OK. He was buried in Bokchito Cemetery, Bokchito, Choctaw Co, OK.¹¹
