Walter Allie was born on November 5th, 1881 in Dover, Stewart Co, TN.1   Walter Allie's father was John Alonzo Chester and his mother was Sarah Jane Roberts.  His maternal grandparents were Ryland Roberts and Martha Jane Keel. He had three brothers and four sisters, named James Lee, Hallie Mortimer, William, Dollie, Ida Mae, Lily Pearl and Mary Alma.  He was the third oldest of the eight children.  He died at the age of 62 in October 1944 in Tipton, Tillman Co, OK.1
