Ludie May Cary

Ludie May was born on December 27th, 1891 in Carroll Co, TN.¹ Ludie May's father was James Benjamin Cary and her mother was Eliza Ann Kirksey. Her paternal grandparents were William W. Cary and Sarah Martha Georgia Ann Johnson. She had eight brothers and four sisters, named William Roland, Marvin Esker, Sidney Cass, David Lige, Elmer Charles, Albert Lyde, Felix Graden, James Gray, Hattie, Pearlie Ester, Clevie and Mattie C.. She was the fourth oldest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 78 on August 15th, 1970 in Westport, Carroll Co, TN. She was buried in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll Co, TN.¹¹
