Pearlie Ester was born on August 1st, 1903 in Carroll Co, TN.1   Pearlie Ester's father was James Benjamin Cary and her mother was Eliza Ann Kirksey.  Her paternal grandparents were William W. Cary and Sarah Martha Georgia Ann Johnson. She had eight brothers and four sisters, named William Roland, Marvin Esker, Sidney Cass, David Lige, Elmer Charles, Albert Lyde, Felix Graden, James Gray, Ludie May, Hattie, Clevie and Mattie C..  She was the fifth youngest of the thirteen children.  She died at the age of 79 on July 16th, 1983 in Carroll Co, TN.  She was buried on July 18th, 1983 in New Hope Cemetery, Yuma, Carroll Co, TN.1 1
