Josie Almeda Cary

Josie Almeda was born on February 20th, 1907 in Marmaduke, Greene Co, AR.¹ Josie Almeda's father was William Wiley Cary and her mother was Nancy Meda Trantham. Her paternal grandparents were William W. Cary and Sarah Martha Georgia Ann Johnson. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Chesley E., Connie Whitfield, Lonnie, William Wiley, Beulah Florence and Mattie. She was the second oldest of the seven children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named William Doss and Lena. She died at the age of 88 on July 27th, 1995 in Belleville, Saint Clair Co, IL.
