Chesley E. was born on October 30th, 1909 in Marmaduke, Greene Co, AR.1   Chesley E.'s father was William Wiley Cary and his mother was Nancy Meda Trantham.  His paternal grandparents were William W. Cary and Sarah Martha Georgia Ann Johnson. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Connie Whitfield, Lonnie, William Wiley, Beulah Florence, Josie Almeda and Mattie.  He was the third oldest of the seven children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named William Doss and Lena.  He died at the age of 91 on March 23rd, 2001 in Mesa City, Maricopa Co, AZ.
