Sir Richard de Corbet I

Richard was born about 1161 in Caus Castle, Wattlesborough, Shropshire, England.¹ Richard's father was Thomas de Corbet and his mother was <Unknown>. His paternal grandparents were 3rd Lord of Caus & Wattlesborough Simon Corbet and <Unknown>. He had a brother and three sisters, named Roger, Alice, Julia and Emma. He was the second oldest of the five children. He died after 1217 in Wem, Shropshire, England.¹
