Moses Payne

Moses was born on June 15th, 1787 in Franklin Co., Virginia.¹ Moses' father was John Payne Sr. and his mother was Sarah Ellis. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Payne and <Unknown>. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Billy, John, Ellis, Hannah, Elizabeth and Nancy. He was the fifth oldest of the seven children. He died at the age of 70 on July 7th, 1857 in Breckenridge Co., Kentucky.¹
