George Skeldon 
George was born about 1874 in Braidwood, Illinois.1 George's father was Adam Skeldon and his mother was Mary Jane Chalmers. His paternal grandparents were Adam Skeldon and Anne Black; his maternal grandparents were Benjamin Chalmers and Catherine Gilroy. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Adam, William, David Leonard, John Walter, Benjaman Chalmers, Albert Edward, Even Daniel, Catherine, Ann Black and Eleanor Jane. He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. He died in 1929.1 -
