David Leonard Skeldon 
David Leonard was born in 1875 in Braidwood, Illinois.1 David Leonard's father was Adam Skeldon and his mother was Mary Jane Chalmers. His paternal grandparents were Adam Skeldon and Anne Black; his maternal grandparents were Benjamin Chalmers and Catherine Gilroy. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Adam, William, George, John Walter, Benjaman Chalmers, Albert Edward, Even Daniel, Catherine, Ann Black and Eleanor Jane. He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children.1 -
