John Calvin Dewey 
John Calvin was born on May 23rd, 1826.1 John Calvin's father was Israel Dewey and his mother was Nancy Hovey. His paternal grandparents were William Dewey and Rebecca Carrier; his maternal grandparents were Roger Hovey and Martha Freeman. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Israel, Harry Hovey, Frederick Freeman, Israel Otis, Betsey Baldwin, Anna Maria, Martha Louisa, Eunetia Parthenia, Mary Eliza and Nancy Maria. He was the second youngest of the eleven children. He had three half-brothers named Daniel Havens, Alonzo Baldwin and Milton Carrier. He died at the age of 15 on May 22nd, 1842.1 -
