Irving Allen Dewey 
Irving Allen was born on March 31st, 1870.1 Irving Allen's father was Francis Asbury Dewey and his mother was Harriet Smith. His paternal grandparents were Simeon Dewey and Betsey Bigelow Knight. He had a brother and a sister, named Lester Hoxie and Mary Jane. He was the youngest of the three children. He had five half-brothers and a half-sister, named George Henry, John William, Albert Francis, Franklin Smith, Isaac Simeon and Jane Statia.1 -
