Chlodwig von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld 
Chlodwig was born in 1876. Chlodwig's father was Wilhelm von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld and his mother was Juliane von Bentheim-Steinfort. His paternal grandparents were Karl von Hessen-Philippsthal-Barchfeld and Sofie von Bentheim-Steinfort. He had two brothers and a sister, named Eduard, Julian and Berta Luise. He was the second oldest of the four children. He had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Friedrich Wilhelm, Carl, Christian, Elisabeth, Alice and Luise. He died at the age of 78 in 1954.
