Philipp von Hessen-Philippsthal

Philipp was born in 1655. Philipp's father was Wilhelm Vl von Hessen-Kassel and his mother was Hedwig Sophie von Brandenburg. His paternal grandparents were Wilhelm V Landgraf von Hessen-Kassel and Amalie Elisabeth von Hanau-Muenzenberg. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Wilhelm Vll, Karl, Georg, Charlotte Amalie, Luise and Elizabeth Henrietta. He was the third youngest of the seven children. He died at the age of 66 in 1721.
