Melbourne Wilcox 
Melbourne was born on January 25th, 1842 in Humphrey, Cattaraugus County, New York. Melbourne's father was Seymour Wilcox and his mother was Sally C. Sargent. His maternal grandparents were Enoch Sargent and Abigail Chase. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Seymour Augustus, Hiram Thomas, Isaiah Clark, Edwin, Melvin, Emaline, Elmira, Mary Ann, Rebecca and Evelina Caroline. He was the fourth youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 90 on March 9th, 1932 in Great Valley, Cattaraugus County, New York.General Notes
Melbourne Wilcox was the twin brother of Melvin Wilcox. He was in Co. I, 6th N.Y. Cav. during the Civil War. At Gettysburg he was wounded in the head at Boonsborough after Gettysburg and was months in hospital.
