Charles Marvel was born on August 25th, 1929 in Red Oak, Ia. Charles Marvel's father was Harry Dale Salisbury and his mother was Ina Pearl Straw. His maternal grandparents were Israel Samuel Straw and Emmeline Mahala Gartrell. He had two brothers and a sister, named Harry Dean, Russell Leland and Gayle Maxine. He was the youngest of the four children. He had a half-brother named Don. He died at the age of 15 on June 1st, 1945 in Red Oak, Ia.-
