Samuel Straw 
Samuel was born on February 28th, 1791 in Hill, Grafton County, New Hampshire. Samuel's father was John Straw and his mother was Mary Molly Emerson. His paternal grandparents were Moses Straw and Elizabeth Colby. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Benjamin, Sargent, Daniel J., Moses, Sarah, Polly, Hannah, Eliza and Lucy. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 82 on July 11th, 1873 in Richmond, Chittendon County, Vermont.-
