John Emery Hillard 
John Emery was born on August 20th, 1857 in Spring Lake, Williams County, Ohio. John Emery's father was George Washington Hillard and his mother was Margaret Ann Bordner. His paternal grandparents were Peris Hillard and Clarrisa Kimball. He had five brothers and three sisters, named William Henry, Cassius Marcibilus Clay, Byron Washington, George Edward, Alva Elverton, Sylvia Ann, Permelia Ellen and Allie Ann. He was the fifth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 73 on January 12th, 1931 in Deer Park, Spokane County, Washington.-
