Allie Ann was born on September 18th, 1861 in Spring Lake, Williams County, Ohio. Allie Ann's father was George Washington Hillard and her mother was Margaret Ann Bordner. Her paternal grandparents were Peris Hillard and Clarrisa Kimball. She had six brothers and two sisters, named William Henry, Cassius Marcibilus Clay, Byron Washington, John Emery, George Edward, Alva Elverton, Sylvia Ann and Permelia Ellen. She is the third youngest of the nine children.-
