Alva Elverton Hillard 
Alva Elverton was born on October 19th, 1869 in Spring Lake, Williams County, Ohio. Alva Elverton's father was George Washington Hillard and his mother was Margaret Ann Bordner. His paternal grandparents were Peris Hillard and Clarrisa Kimball. He had five brothers and three sisters, named William Henry, Cassius Marcibilus Clay, Byron Washington, John Emery, George Edward, Sylvia Ann, Permelia Ellen and Allie Ann. He was the youngest of the nine children. He died at the age of 52 on March 13th, 1922 in Tennessee.-
