Orren Melborne was born on November 9th, 1906 in Ogden, Weber, Utah. Orren Melborne's father was Thomas Evans and his mother was Susan Adaline Dunn. His maternal grandparents were John Johnson Dunn and Sarah Sophia Dunn. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, Orval Q., Erma Hannah and Thora Susie.
