Susan Adaline was born on May 11th, 1878 in Perry, Box Elder, UT. Susan Adaline's father was John Johnson Dunn and her mother was Sarah Sophia Dunn. Her maternal grandparents were Simeon Adams Dunn and Harriet Atwood Silver. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Simeon Silver, Francis Adams, Oscar Willis, Martin Luther, Wesley Hyrum, Harriet Atwood, Mary Emmaline, Lucy Eveline, Sarah Sophia and Eliza Camilla.
