George W. Colby 
George W. was born on June 4th, 1823 in Bradford, Orange County, Vermont. George W.'s father was Jacob Colby and his mother was Mehitable Corliss. His paternal grandparents are Jacob Sargent Colby and Phebe Putney. He had a brother and a sister, named Jonathan Corliss and Hitty Mitchell. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 81 on February 6th, 1905 in Topsham, Orange County, Vermont.-
