Her paternal grandparents are Osmund Jonsen and Anna Johannsdatter; her maternal grandparents are Jens Olsen and Berta Olsdatter. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Oswald, James, Anna and Bessie. She was the youngest of the five children. She died at the age of 83 on December 15th, 1979 in Flushing, New York.-
