Jensine was born in 1857 in Netland, Stavanger, Norway. Jensine's father is Jens Olsen and her mother is Berta Olsdatter. Her paternal grandfather was Ola Eriksen and her paternal grandmother is Ingeborg Andersdatter. She had a brother and three sisters, named Ole, Ingeborg, Elen and Birgitte. She was the youngest of the five children. She died at the age of 93 in 1950 in Flushing, Queens, NY.-
