Theodore I Lascaris of Nicaea 
Theodore I Lascaris of was born about 1175 in Nicaea, Bursa, Turkey. Theodore I Lascaris of's father was Manolis Laskaris and his mother was Ioanna Karatzaina (Phokaina). He had six brothers named Manolis, Georgios, Konstantinos IX, Alexios, Isaak and Michael. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children. He died in August 1222.General Notes
