Adelaide was born about 1062 in France.  Adelaide's father was Hubert of Vermandois and her mother was Adela De Vexin.  Her paternal grandparents were Otho or Otto of Vermandois and Pavia; her maternal grandparents were Raoul III "The Great" de Valois and Adele De Bar-Sur-Aube.  She was an only child.  She died on September 23rd, 1120 in Meulan, France.

‌Adelaide and Hugh "The were married in a religious ceremony in 1078.  They had a son and six daughters, named Raoul I "le Vaillant", Emma (Avice), Mahaut, Isabel Elizabeth, Agnes, Constance and Beatrice (Beatrix).
