Renaud II was born about 1085 in Clermont, Oise, France.  Renaud II's father was Hugh De Monchi and his mother was Marguerite.  His paternal grandparents were Renaud De Creil and Ermengardis de Clermont-en-Beauvaisis; his maternal grandparents were Hilduin and Adelaide de Roucy. He had a sister named Adeliza.  He was the younger of the two children.  He died before 1102 in Clermont, Oise, France.
