Thomas Melvin 
Thomas was born about 1840 in New York.1 Thomas' father was Patrick Melvin and his mother is Ellen *unknown. He had four brothers and two sisters, named John, Frances J., Henry, Joseph, Ann and Marie Lillian. He is the fourth oldest of the seven children.
