Martha L. (Mattie) *Godwin

Martha L., known as Mattie, was born on December 27th, 1868.¹   Mattie's father is Elijah A. *Godwin and her mother was Minerva J. Unknown.  Her paternal grandparents are Allen Goodwin and Martha Unknown. She had three brothers and four sisters, named James Akiel, John L., Jake, Elizabeth H., Mary Ella, Leota and Letitia.  She is the fourth oldest of the eight children.
