Her paternal grandparents were Comte d'Alsace Luitfrid II and Comtess d'Alsace Hiltrude. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Luitfrid, Hughes, Berthe de Tours, Adela de Tours and Aelis de Tours. She was the third youngest of the six children. She died in Strasbourg,Alsace.
