John de Courtenay 
John was born on July 26th, 1224 in Okehampton, Devonshire, England. John's father was Robert de Courtenay and his mother is Mary de Reviers. His paternal grandparents were Renaud (Reginald) Seigneur de Courtenay and Hawise de Curcy; his maternal grandparents were William (de Vernon) de Reviers and Mabel (Mabirie) de Beaumont. He had a brother and a sister, named William and Hawise. He was the youngest of the three children. He died at the age of 49 on May 3rd, 1274.
