Miles (Milo) was born about 1069 in Courtenay, Loriet, France.  Miles (Milo)'s father was Josceline de Courtenay and his mother was Isabel (Elizabeth) de Montlhery.  His paternal grandfather was Athon de Courtenay; his maternal grandfather was Guy de Montlhery and his maternal grandmother is Hodierne de Gometz. He had two brothers named Josceline and Jeffery (Courtenay).  He was the oldest of the three children.  He died in 1127 in France.  He was buried in Abbey, Fountain Jean, France.


Miles (Milo)'s family with Ermengarde de Nevers

‌Miles (Milo) and Ermengarde were married in a religious ceremony in 1095 in France.  They had three sons named Josceline, Guillaume and Renaud (Reginald) Seigneur.
