Isabel was born about 1228 in of Totnes, Devonshire, England. Isabel's father was Hugh IV de Vere and her mother was Hawise de Quincy. Her paternal grandparents were Robert de Vere and Isabel Bolebec; her maternal grandparents were Sahir IV de Quincy and Margaret de Harcourt. She had a brother and two sisters, named Robert, Laura and Margaret. She was the oldest of the four children. She died on August 19th, 1300.
