Thomas Winthrop 
Thomas was born in June 1533 in Groton, Suffolk, England.1 Thomas' father was Adam Winthrop and his mother was Alice Henny (Hunny). His paternal grandparents are Adam Winthrop and Jane Burton (Burnol). He had three brothers and a sister, named Thomas, William, Christopher and Bridget. He was the youngest of the five children. He had three half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Adam, John, Adam, Alice, Bridget, Mary, Catherine and Susanna. He died at the age of 4 in 1537 in Stokes, Essex, , England.General Notes
