Catherine Winthrop 
Catherine was born on May 17th, 1550 in Groton, Suffolk, England.1 Catherine's father was Adam Winthrop and her mother was Agnes Sharpe. Her paternal grandparents are Adam Winthrop and Jane Burton (Burnol); her maternal grandparents are Richard Sharpe and UNKNOWN Elizabeth. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Adam, John, Adam, Alice, Bridget, Mary and Susanna. She was the second youngest of the eight children. She had four half-brothers and a half-sister, named Thomas, William, Christopher, Thomas and Bridget. She died at the age of 12 in 1562 in Groton, Suffolk, England.1 General Notes
