JOAN PRINCESS OF was born in 1265 in WINDSOR CASTLE, WINDSOR, BERKSHIRE, ENGLAND.  JOAN PRINCESS OF's father was EDWARD I "LONGSHANKS" ENGLAND and her mother was LEONOR PRINCESS OF CASTILE & LEON.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry III England and ELEONORE (LEONOR) PROVENCE. She had four brothers and ten sisters, named JOHN PRINCE OF, HENRY PRINCE OF, ALPHONSO PRINCE OF, EDWARD II KING, ELEANOR PRINCESS OF, JULIANA OR KATHERINE, ISABEL PRINCESS OF, MARGARET PRINCESS OF, BERENGARIA PRINCESS OF, MARY PRINCESS OF, ALICE PRINCESS OF, ELIZABETH PRINCESS OF, BEATRICE PRINCESS OF and BLANCHE PRINCESS OF.  She is the second oldest of the fifteen children. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named EDMUND "OF WOODSTOCK", THOMAS "OF BROTHERTON" and ELEONOR PRINCESS OF.
