Saher was born in 1155. Saher's father was Robert De Quincy and his mother was Orable (Orabilia) De Leuchars. His paternal grandparents were Saher De Quincy Lord Of and Matilda (Maud) De Senlis; his maternal grandfather was Ness (Ralph) Lord Of Leuchars. He had a brother named Robert. He was the younger of the two children. He died at the age of 64 on November 3rd, 1219 in Damietta, Egypt. He was buried in Acre, Palestine.-
