Matilda was born in 1072 in Of Northumberland.  Matilda's father was Waltheof II Earl Of Northumberland and her mother was Judith De Boulogne.  Her paternal grandfather was Siward Earl Of Northumbria and her paternal grandmother is Aefflaed II Lady Of Bernicia; her maternal grandparents were Lambert II Count Of Boulogne & Lens and ADELIZA De NORMANDY. She had two sisters named Judith Alice and Daughter Of Waltheof II.  She died at the age of 59 in 1131.  She was buried in Scone Abbey, Perthshire.
