Adelaide Countess Of was born about 1062 in of Valois, Bretagne, France.1   Adelaide Countess Of's father was Count Herbert IV De Vermandois and her mother was Adela De Valois De Vexin.  Her paternal grandparents were Otto Count De Vermandois and Pavia [Patia] Countess De [Vermandois]; her maternal grandparents were Raoul III le Grand Ct & Vexin de Valois and Adele De Bar Sur Aube.  She was an only child.  She died on September 23rd, 1120 in Vermandois, Normandy or Meulan, France.1
