Roger II de was born about 1029 in Normandy,France. Roger II de's father was Roger I d'Espagne ('The Spaniard') Toeni Lord of Guerny and his mother was Godhilda Goodchild Adelaide of Barcelona. He had three brothers and a sister, named Raoul III d'Acquigny, Nigel de Toeni Neel, Robert de and Adelina Adeliza Alice. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named William and Agnes.
