Richard Shipley 
Richard was born in 1794 in Sullivan Co, Tennessee.1 Richard's father was Elijah Shipley , Sr and his mother was Rachel Elizabeth Kingston. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Shipley and Catherine Hawk. He had five brothers named Benjamin Franklin, Joshua, Elijah, Adam and Caleb. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 66 in 1860 in Sullivan Co, Tennessee.1 General Notes
