David Wells Shipley 
David Wells was born on February 2nd, 1851 in Hamilton Co, Tennessee.1 David Wells' father was Orson Shipley and his mother was Hannah O Hunt. His paternal grandparents were Benjamin Franklin Shipley , Sr and Catherine Wells. He had four brothers and six sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named John H, Benjamin Franklin, Orson Austin, Jessie Perry, Catherine Wells, Sarah, Nancy, Martha, Barbara, Mary Elizabeth and Beyer. He was the second youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 92 on September 19th, 1943 in Hamilton Co, Tennessee.1 General Notes
